The High Line is a former freight train line transformed into a beautiful park in New York City. Section 1 of the park runs 9 city blocks along the west side of Manhattan. Among other things it features gardens, a stage and loungers for sun bathing. From up there you can see down the streets, over the water and we spied Artichoke Pizza which we hunted out when we returned to the streets. I hope that The High Line will one day be as iconic as Central Park.
