Though the intended audience is probably kids or school groups, it’s possible to have a sleep-over at Wellington Zoo. The night tour was interesting but my favourite part of the experience was being at the zoo first thing in the morning when all the animals are awake and many are waiting to be fed. Also pretty great was waking up to the bizarre primate calls in the morning. As always, the Red Pandas are the stars of the show.
